Memberships 2022

We have a range of different memberships available for whether you would like to engage in playing cricket or wish to be part of a thriving friendly social community, new members are welcome to join us here at Rishton!

There are 3 main types of membership:

Player Membership - A player of any age who officially represents the club.

Cricket Membership - A season ticket that allows entry to 1st team home matches  (not including 2020 and Worsley cup matches as the gate fees are shared between the clubs on these dates). You will receive a members book with the fixture list included. This works out cheaper than paying for all the 1st team matches overall. This membership booklet needs to be brought with you as your ticket to enter free on match days.

Social Membership - Allows use of club members room, you will receive a members card and you will be on the members list by the members room door. You can attend social events put on by the club and you can also attend the AGM. If you have a player, spectator,100 club, or discount card membership you are automatically a social member.

How do I pay for my membership?

We are now taking payment for memberships through bank transfer.  Please write your full name as reference, If you are paying for a few people you can do separate transactions if needed to put the names on. Thankyou. You can collect your member's card on 10th March 2022 at the registration night or on your next visit after 10th March. If you prefer to pay cash this can be paid for on Registration night.

For the £10 annual social memberships you need to pay the social account.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS!

Do I have to pay to enter on a cricket matchday?

For 1st team matches there is a small fee at the gate if you do not have a cricket membership booklet. If you have a social membership you have to pay the gate fee. For 2nd,3rd and 4th and junior games entry is free to the grounds for all. Any person entering the club is expected to be at least a social member as we are a social club. If there is a 2020 or Cup match for example, there is a gate fee for ALL attending as this money is usually shared between the two playing clubs!

Where can I find out the fixtures?

The fixtures are also usually updated on Facebook before the weekend. The Junior fixtures will be added monthly after they have been arranged. Any changes at short notice, please follow instructions from your team manager.  If you have a cricket membership you can find all the key dates in your membership booklet.

How do I collect my members card?

Socially memberships can be collected at the bar usually after 7 days from purchasing your membership or on registration night(10th March). You will be asked to fill in some details, e.g. phone number and address and hand this in (for insurance purposes as we are a social club). Cricket memberships can be collected on 1st team match days with some ID.

I have not yet received my members card but I have paid, can I still come in the club without it?

Yes! If you have paid you will be on a list, If somebody asks for this, please let staff know your name and have some ID and this can be checked.

Do I need to bring my cricket membership booklet to 1st team games to enter?

YES it is expected you bring your membership booklet, if you have no other ID to check against your name on the list and the gate person does not know you, you may be refused entry or have to pay the gate fee. This causes lots of stress for club volunteers so please just bring your booklet!
